He has strived to establish improved working relationships with community stakeholders, determine strategic priorities through the development of new vision and mission statements and a 5-year strategic plan, and lead structural changes to create better policy, operations and governance. For nearly 20 years, Matt operated Vista Enterprises, a company offering consultant services for everything from bookkeeping to teaching financial based decision making strategies. In 2006, he founded IGNITE Consulting, a firm commissioned by KEDCO to provide leadership to the Kingston Entrepreneurship Centre. Over a five year period, Matt held various national and international volunteer positions with Junior Chamber International (JCI), earning many recognition awards for his leadership roles. He currently holds Board positions with the Boys & Girls Club of Kingston & Area, First Capital Community Loan Fund and AIESEC Queen’s. |
